hey guys! i don't know whether anyone still remembers me, but here is an update... i was probably last acitve on this account six years ago. since then, i've graduated high school! it's kinda crazy. turns out i want to do politics in uni! i've been on some youth advisory groups since leaving scratch and it's actually awesome. i get to consult with the government on lots of things! the areas of policy i focus on are lgbtqia+ youth, gender based violence, and general youth affairs. i know a lot of you reading this are young, i would definitely encourage you to apply for youth advisory groups! most will start their intake at 16 but you can find some that will take you when you're young as 12!! you can actually make a real difference in your life and it's awesome. so in the future i wanna study a double degree in politics, philosophy, and economics (that's one degree) and public policy! i hope to work either in grassroots advcoacy or be a public servant :) it's insane i'm moving in 3 months accross the country to pursue the degree of my dreams. do i still make art??? hmm, i think high school kind of ruined art for me. i took visual arts atar as a subject (similar to ap fine art i guess?) and alongside my other subjects the only room I could make for art was in an academic context - now that I have some free time over the summer I will totally be making art! i wont be active on here anymore though, my scratch days are definitely over. but i thought my friends and followers deserved an update on what i'm up to! i would love to know what everyone is up to too!!! thank you so much to this amazing community for providing me with such a lovely chronically online childhood <3 signing off, eci, or taryn <3
