Spy-zhī is based entirely off of disguise and what's under the shell the word zhī is part of spider in traditional chinese and it's whole existence is to disguise. Although it has eyes they can't be used properly so it uses the hairs on its arms to detect for vibrations, when it hears a cutiefly flying by it pounces up causing the cutiefly to try and swerve out the way only to go straight into its jaws the yellow and black is to resemble a wasp so bigger predators don't eat it as that pattern typically means 'do not eat me i am venomous' but in reality, they aren't venomous and are dark/bug
it's shiny is based off reality with upbeat colors showing that not all spiders are bad as i used green as green is typically seen in art as good and Harmony i also made this to try and tell people with arachnaphobia that spiders aren't all that bad as looks can be deceiving
