[id] - black letters that read ``ash's gaehive manager application!`` centered over a burnt orange background [intro] - hi, i'm ash ! my pronouns and other names change a lot, but they/them is usually fine. i'm online monday-friday from 8:30 am-2:00 pm est, and i've been on the hive for . . . three or four years, and i'm somewhere between 12 and 15. [i'm a good choice !] - reasons why i could be a good choice are that i can usually stay away from causing any drama and i do my best to follow guidelines. i'm also very careful to use tonetags and trigger warnings and always keep my profile open for vents if needed. [i'm not perfect] - there are a lot of things that i don't understand that i would probably need to. i'm also not the most active and i get frustrated really easily. [i'm special !] - as someone with adhd and spd, i often get very overwhelmed for one reason or another. this, combined with the fact that many people close to me are mental health professionals, means that i could give helpful tips or strategies for others, especially considering that a lot of hive members do have some form of anxiety. [what i'd change] - i would definitely want to spread more awareness about the community events that are going on, as well as make it a little clearer that the studio is a safe place to ask questions and not know things. i've seen a lot of people {including myself} asking questions in a very apologetic manner, and worrying that others will have a bad response to them wanting to understand something. [that's all i have to say for now, and best of luck to everyone who applied !] love, ash
[reccommendations] [disclaimer] - i mean no offense to those not on the following list. these are not in any particular order, i've added them in the order that i saw their applications. i'll be adding more as i see more applications, but these are mostly people that i've seen around the hive frequently and had interactions with that led me to think these things about them. [charlie] - charlie [@sold-my-soul] is fun and kind. he's someone who a lot members feel safe talking to and he also works hard on community activities. [moon] - moon [] is a long~time member who is also very active in community~building within the studio. he is also someone who can acknowledge faults within the studio or personal ones, which is an important thing to do. [Lorraine] - Lorraine [, was once ] is fun and playful. she's on the lighthearted side, and is definitely great at making tense situations more bearable. it's very approachable and, in my experience, someone who can have a lot of personality without breaking guidelines. [wade] - wade [] is another person who's super funny and energetic. he seems very dedicated to the things he cares about and is great at answering questions in the hive. he's also very active and really good at helping others learn about things. [cupid] - cupid [] he's always been super nice and helpful and . . . i don't really know but it seems like someone who'd be a great manager. [bunny] - bunny [] is a fun member who already does a lot of hive interactives. she's super sweet and generally spreads a lot of positivity. they're also someone who i've seen respond to a lot of euphoria or name/pronoun testing requests, which is really important as it's one of the things that's expected of the studio a lot. [matt] - matt [] is someone who can be brutally honest but also be . . . really nice about it ? they are also another person who's great at noticing problems and trying to fix them. he's also super active, and i mean . . . super active, like i've never gone to the hive and not seen him there. he's also super accepting and someone who did mention in their application that they want to work on euphoria or name/pronoun testing responses. [roswell] - sheil/roswell [] is probably the only person on the reccommendations list that i haven't interacted with much. i have, however, seen some of his comments and she's always spreading awareness on important things in the hive. i've seen them on a few different topics, but the one shi focuses on the most is intersex issues.
