click the house! plaintext: hi! i'm michael! this is my 2024 gaehive manager application. to get to the next slide, click, press your right arrow key, or press space! i go by a few names, but primarily michael, laika, and warren. i use he/she pronouns, and i'm an aromantic transgender butch lesbian. i've applied for manager a few times in the past! i've been a member of the gaehive for a couple of years, but i only really officially joined sometime in 2021 or 2022. you might've seen me interact a few times in 2020, but i doubt it, as i wasn't on scratch often and didn't really have a set main account. i'm a teenager, and i live in maryland, so that's eastern standard time. i'm online a lot on weekdays, less so in the summer, and occasionally on weekends. i'm willing to change these habits to whatever works. i usually have lots of free time! i'm not confident that i'd be perfectly able to handle things like drama at first, but i think that's something that'll develop over time. i think i come off as a bit intimidating or rude at times, which definitely isn't intentional, but it could be a bit of a problem. but wait! it's not all negative! i think i'm at least somewhat liked by quite a bit of the current gaehive, which is nice! i'm also already the creator/a manager of the gaehive roleplay studio, which, while it isn't as big of a community as the main studio is, it's still pretty active and i've managed to develop quite a few close relationships with the people there. i like to talk to people, and i like to be at least a little bit helpful where i can, which i think is important when it comes to managing an online chatroom. i think that i have a few traits that some other managers/most curators don't have, like my physical disability & mobility aid usage, my schizophrenia, and my experience as a masculine queer person, which gives me a few opportunities to help educate people who are misinformed or just curious. obviously i'm not open to acting like a dictionary to anyone who's curious about My Kind, but if anyone were to ask reasonable and respectful questions, i'm 100% cool with answering. i also like to do a little event on rphive where every monday i post a quote and change the thumbnail & title to melanie king monday whenever i'm hosting. this isn't really a serious contribution, but i think it's fun! here's a few people i think would be good managers: - he's a generally kind person, and while i don't talk to him much, he's easy and fun to have a conversation with. he also posts regular educational posts about his experience being intersex, which i think is a topic that the studio needs to be a bit more educated on. - i might be a bit biased here because i just recently decided to see if she wanted to manage rphive (she did!), but she's responsible and, like the last recommendation, easy to talk to! i don't really know what a specific example could be, but from what i've seen she replies to comments of people other than the ones that she already knows, which is something that i feel like we all need to work on a little bit. (okay late addition this one's not in the project but also i'm sure you know why) thank you for considering my application! :-) let me know if you have any questions!
