First and foremost, instructions for the game. Arrow keys to move, avoid light blue. Also, in terms of trigger warning, the colors and organization in the project is very unappealing to the eye, and the narrow passageways can certainly trigger claustrophobia. Now on to the transcript. Introductions! .My name is Oliver .I am a transfeminine individual using she/her pronouns. .I am 15 years old. .I am quite a new individual, being a gaehivian for a little over a year. .I am in EST, expect me from 4-10 pm and fluctuating online throughout the day. .I'm bisexual. .I am a boyscout. .I am a connoisseur of flags, although i'm not too great with pride flags yet. .I love music, some artists I like are 100 gecs, TV Girl, Frank Sinatra, Mother Mother, Tally Hall, Alex G, Lemon Demon, Will Wood, Jack Stauber's Micropop, Bo Burnham and Laufey. Why I would be a good manager .Gaehive has gotten me through some particularly rough times, and I want to serve Gaehive well, as Gaehive has served me. .As a scout, I frequently take leadership positions and am able to empathize and understand everybody's situation no matter the age or identity because I often work with people different in age, beliefs, etc. .I don't respond negatively to really anything thrown my way in the Gaehive, choosing to either ignore it, respond neutrally or respond positively. Downsides to me being a manager .My regular comments are quite bland. .As a scout, I do lots of camping, so I would be completely inactive for up to a full week a month, however because these are planned camping events, I can give notice as to when I will be out well before the events. .I lack a large amount of self-confidence although it has grown quite a bit from last year with therapy. Last year's application, I said I don't feel I deserve a manager role, but if I got it this year, I believe I would feel I deserve the role I got. .As you can see in this project, i'm not good with planning. Unique things I would bring to the position .If I become manager, I promise I will learn the Gaehive anthem on the kalimba. .Some of my ideas differ with those stated in the Gaehive rules, such as I believe in increased leniency in rule 4 for non-LGBTQ related vents. (I will still remind people of the rule when necessary) .Not extremely unique, but I often do random things in the comments to keep the members engaged and entertained, such as when I did trivia a few weeks ago. What I would improve in the Gaehive should I be promoted .I, unlike many think the Gaehive, despite some drama I think the Gaehive is relatively peaceful and that there is little to do to get rid of the bad things in the Gaehive that isn't already done in such scenarios, and while I will absolutely help what drama we do have, I will absolutely help what drama we do have, I will be more focused on improving positives, and keeping the members entertained and engaged. Other individuals I think would be good managers : Based on their application, I think for all the reasons I would be a good manager, they would be as well while also having more positive qualities and ideas that I do not possess myself. Admittedly, Cakes' manager application is not very convincing, even lacking a campaign promise, however I believe Cakes would take Cake's position seriously and improves the Gaehive even without being a manager. Her campaign is fantastic, with a great campaign promise that would actually change the Gaehive contrary to many campaign promises i've seen. Also, my interactions with her have been overwhelmingly positive. By having more official things, such as the Gaehive anthem, the Gaehive will undeniably feel more a sense of unity and a shared sense of culture such as the citizens of a nation, as opposed to just a chat group. Thank you for reading my application!
First, thank you Gaehive for getting me through so many difficult times and giving me a sense of belonging. Secondly, thank you managers for making the Gaehive how it is, and for reading the large heap of text that the sum of these manager applications are.
