Simply copy and paste the code. For those with old passwords, the old system is still available. Also the new passwords are much too long to enter manually, so if you can't copy and paste for some reason then you can use the old system. But please keep in mind, the new system will perfectly record your game state. The old system does its best to estimate your game state, but some things may be lost. New system is definitely recommended. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------tips----------------------------------- While I am proud of how faithful this game is to the original Fire Red and Leaf Green games, it is still simplified in a lot of ways. So here I will list some of the changes that you might want to keep in mind. This will be a very long section so feel free to skip. Pokemon are only one type in this game, this might affect what weaknesses and resistences you expect. For example Zubat is pure poison, it's not part flying, so ground attacks would be super effective. Also Pokemon will only get STAB (Same Type Attack Bonus) on one type of move. There are no special stats in this game. Pokemon only have 4 stats, HP, Attack, Defense, and Speed. Their base Attack and Defense stats were decided based on whichever was higher in the original, physical or special. As a result this tended to favor pokemon who specialized in physical or special, pokemon with more rounded stats geerally did worse. This is one reason why Brock is relatively difficult in this game. Rock Pokemon typically have high physical stats and low special stats, but in this game they don't have that weakness to special attacks. Also this makes stat boosting moves more powerful. There are no EVs, IVs, or natures in this game. Pokemon of the same species and level will always have exactly the same stats. Their stats are equivilent to a Pokemon with 0 EVs, 0 IVs and a neutral nature in the real games. Move sets are pre determined based on Pokemon species. The only way a pokemon can learn new moves is by evolving, otherwise their moves are fixed. Attacks do not have accuracy (they always hit) and they don't have secondary effects. So no reason not to spam high power moves. Also Thunder Wave, Sing, Will-o-Wisp, and Toxic are the only ways to cause paralysis, sleep, burn, and poison (there is no freeze). Paralysis and Burn work essentially the same as the real games. Poison does twice the damage of burn, but the damage does not increase over time. Sing can't miss, but a pokemon has a 25% chance to wake up immediately on the 1st turn, 50% on the 2nd turn, 75% on the 3rd turn, and 100% on the 4th turn. If you do the math, that means sleep is on average beneficial to use, but it is a gamble. I only made like 60 something moves, so move pools are somewhat limited. There are no criticals in this game. There is a +/-10% random multiplier to damage, but it's not that significant. Pokemon need 100 exp for every level up, exp for defeating a pokemon is 50 + 5*(opponent's level - your level), minimum 1 exp, with a 20% bonus when battling trainers. There is no exp share, even if you switch only the active pokemon gets experience. Also the max level is 99 rather than 100. There is only one of every evolution item in the game, but they can be used infinitely. Trainers will not initiate battle unless you talk to them, but most can be rematched endlessly, this is a great way to farm exp. There's probably more I'm forgetting but that is most of it! ------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lastly, this game took me 2+ years and 100s of hours to make, please do not steal!
