hey hey! my name's pep (she/they) and this is my manager application about me: i'm pep (or pepper, or safi, or literally any other name [chat do we like the name Edith?]) I use she/they pronouns and identify as bi. i've been a member of the hive for three years and am in the est timezone! I would be most active after about 8:30 am est to anywhere up to about 10 pm est, and I am 14 :) I think I would be a good manager because I try to make everyone feel included. I feel like the Hive can be a very exclusionary place and I try to respond to as much euphoria and other comments as I need. I think we need a better karma system and it needs to be updated more frequently and I would try to change that. I would also try to improve our relations with other studios (GWDFI, CHQ, etc.) by promoting equality and hosting multistudio events where we could bond over our similarities. I wouldn't be the best manager choice because I tend to jump to conclusions and act on direct actions rather than thinking about it, which is something I would try to improve in this position. I can be contraversial at times and start incidents without realizing (once but still). However given the position or even consideration I would try my best to improve. I think I'm younger than a lot of hive managers (idk tho) and I'm also VERY involved in current issues, so I would be able to bring an involved stance and invite gaehivians to participate in current events/activities. I would try to make the gaehive a funnier place, but also more welcoming to new members, which is hard. As manager, I would start by creating a new member orientation studio (or overhauling one if we already have one) with introductions to the hive rules, meet the managers, things to know about the hive, how to get in good standing, etc that new members could be directed to. I would overhaul the karma system and try to update it much more frequently. As well, I would promote interstudio activities so we can smooth relations with studios we have often argued with in the past. I would reccomend Wade (@MADDY_Lolha) and Roswell (@cryptic-signs) for manager title. They are both very kind and mature. Roswell specifically raises lots of awareness about intersex people, a community I feel is often ignored, and Wade is very kind and always has been someone positive I think about when I think about the gaehive. thank you . . . for your consideration
