Lotuspaw looked at Amberpaw who's eyes were beaming as the clan chanted their new names.But as happy as Lotuspaw was she couldn't help but to scratch at the itch in her mind. /Why did that cat come to me in a dream?? Have I gone mad? I wouldn't be surprised../ She thought with a twitch of her tail.The night before a warrior had appeared in her dreams whispering vague prophecies and foreshadowing the future of the clans.She wanted to tell herself 'its just a dream' or 'the clan will be fine' but she found that sheltering in the comfort of her own delusions was useless.She got up and headed to the apprentices den.She needed rest before she lashed out."Where are you going?"Amberpaw had padded up to her a hint of worry in her eyes. "Are you alright?" Her friend asked worriedly "Just tired. I need some sleep" Lotuspaw purred "Ill talk to you later" Lotuspaw looked around.Dead trees and a red mist that smelled of blood surround every inch of the dark forest. She felt her fur bristle along her spine as her gaze scanned around the dead,blood forest. "How on Starclan's name did I get here?" She mused out loud. "Starclan's name is forbidden here!" she heard a cat hiss.She flipped around to see a giant tortoiseshell tom staring at her. "The DarkForest is a very unforgiving place" He continued. " If I were any other cat I would have torn you to shreds for saying that!" He growled. Lotuspaw couldn't help but to tremble. Where was she? Would this cat kill her?. She woke up with a start digging her claws into her nest.it was just a dream..or was it? Amberpaw sat in the clearing boredly. She had thought that being a apprentice would be much more fun but all she had done so far was clean bedding."Amberpaw!" She turned her head to see her friend Burrowpaw padding towards her. "Want to go hunting?" He asked. Amberpaw nodded eagerly "Sure!" She purred. She noticed a look in his eyes and tilted her head."What is it?" She asked. Burrowpaw shook his head slowly.
