Heya, I’m Bunny/Pan and I’ve been on the gaehive for about 2-3 years I think, and I’m EST. I enjoy drawing, and I do a lot of interactives on the hive. I also like to boost people up and adopt like half of the gaehive. I’m pansexual and a-spec, using she/they pronouns. My age is from 16-18 and I’m online from usually 8 AM - 6 PM on weekdays in EST. [Why I would be good for the position] I believe I would be a good manager because I usually spread positivity around the hive and I try my best to make people feel better. I also think that I would be a good manager because I (try) to de-escalate things when they occur, or try my best to calm others down when something happens, although this doesn’t happen all the time I will admit. I also try to see things from other people’s points of views to try and be understanding of a situation, but I can also see reasoning. I know when something is and isn’t okay, which I believe is an important asset for a manager. [Downsides to me being a manager] The downsides would be that I am not able to be online all the time due to my parents strictness (I am not supposed to be on scratch so I have to be careful) and I may not be able to pay full attention because of school and bowling. Although I would *try* my very best to do so. I would also likely need breaks during the day just so I do not become overwhelmed from things or to just relax. [Things I could bring to the position] I think I could bring fun ideas to the gaehive, like more interactives or activities to engage everyone. Even a simple would you rather could boost people’s mood, and coming up with ways to have everyone connect with each other is something I can bring as well. To get into more detail, I want to create “events” of sorts that would invite everyone to have a part in it. For example, doing a vote for the interactives or even just silly games like “would you rather” or “who’s most likely to (blank)”. I would also like to make challenges where if you interact with x amount of people you get a point to go towards a prize, kind of like what Isla used to do. [What I would imporve] I think that if I were promoted, I would try to resolve more problems amongst members to make the gaehive less negative, thus brightening people’s days and making the gaehive less toxic. To be specific, I want to crack down on discourse in the studio. I know that we have the karma system which works pretty well, but I notice that a lot of people are unsatisfied and feel like they can’t speak about problems in the gaehive out of anxiousness or fear. I believe that I can be a welcoming manager to handling these problems, as a lot of the time people are comfortable coming to me with them. I want people to know that the gaehive is a safe, welcoming environment still and that they are allowed to come to managers with problems and issues. I have been afraid to speak about discourse I’ve personally been involved in, and I don’t want others to feel that way. [People I think should be manager] 1. Wade is a positive aspect to the gaehive and I think it would bring great things to the hive. I cannot think of a specific thing it has done at the moment, and I apologize 2. They are a very supportive and caring person, and I know he has helped so, so many people, and would bring immense comfort to the gaehive. This happens daily whenever they are online 3. Moon brings a lot of important topics of LGBTQ+ up and makes sure we all know things that are currently going on and past happenings 4. She is extremely caring and makes the hive less tense in toxic situations. When there was election talk, she was there comforting people and claiming us down, me included. She is not afraid to stand up for what is right and does not hide herself
