The Reskerton viaduct is now more or less completed, so all that's left to do is test the track and signalling equipment, and build the new high-level platforms for the station. The town's 3 crossings are now set to be removed. Reskerton signal box is still in control of this end of the line - although there are plans to re-signal the whole route to Mereston IECC, that's not happening yet. The only change from this project is it no longer controls 2 of its road crossings (with Ruston crossing also set to go next year once the branch line gets removed).
