Go here for a version without the Imploding Kitten: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1095515203 @FireStarStuff's Exploding Kittens game but with more cards, including: ● Streaking Kitten ● Buries ● Draw from the bottoms ● Swap top and bottom ● Feral Cats ● See the future 5x ● Raising Heck ● IMPLODING KITTEN! The instructions are pretty simple. You will always go first. Click the play card button to play a card and the draw card button to draw a card and end your turn. The pop-up list will tell you what's happening. How Exploding Kittens Works If you’ve never played exploding kittens before, here’s how. In the deck, there are some exploding kitten cards. Each player takes turns playing cards and drawing cards. When someone draws an exploding kitten, they explode and are out of the game. In this Player VS. Computer game, that means the other player wins. You play cards to try to avoid drawing an exploding kitten card. Example: You play a See the Future card to view the top three cards of the deck. You see that the top card, the card you are about to draw, is an exploding kitten card. Since you don’t want to draw it, you play a Skip card, which lets you end your turn without drawing. Both you and the computer start with 7 cards + 1 defuse card. Defuse cards are used to defuse an exploding kitten card (explained in credits). ON YOUR TURN, you can play any number of cards you like (even zero) and then you draw. Post any questions you have about the gameplay in the comments section, and I’ll do my best to explain!
Sorry, I wasn't able to make Nopes. Armageddons MIGHT be coming soon (maybe). Please report any bugs you find so I can fix them! How the cards work: Below is a list of every card that you may encounter during the game and has a description of how the card works. Specific card names will be in ALL CAPS. Exploding Kitten: When you draw this card, you immediately explode… UNLESS you have a DEFUSE card or a STREAKING KITTEN (see below). Defuse: If you draw an EXPLODING KITTEN card, you can play this card instead of exploding. The exploding kitten is then inserted to a random position back into the deck. Attack: You can play this card to force the computer to take two turns in a row. Unlike in the card game, attacks do not add up. Skip: When you play this, you immediately end you turn(s) without drawing a card. Favor: You can play this card to force the computer to give you any card it chooses. Shuffle: This card thoroughly shuffles the deck when played. See the Future: Play this card to view the top 3 cards of the deck. The computer does not see this. See the Future (5x): Same as SEE THE FUTURE, only you get to view the top 5 cards of the deck. Imploding Kitten: When you draw this card face down, it is placed back to a random position in the deck face up. When you draw it face up, you implode. You cannot defuse it if you draw it face up. You can’t hold an imploding kitten card in your hand through the use of a STREAKING KITTEN (see below). Barking Kitten: When you play this card, if the computer has the other barking kitten card, the computer immediately explodes. However, if the computer does NOT have a barking kitten, then nothing happens until the computer plays the other barking kitten. Then, you explode. Streaking Kitten: While this card is in your hand, you can secretly hold an exploding kitten in your hand without exploding. Raising Heck: When you play this card, you get to view the bottom card of the deck. You then get to choose if you want to keep it in your hand or place it on top of the deck. Regardless of your choice, you turn ends. Cat Cards (Tacocat, Catermelon, Hairy Potato Cat, Beard Cat, Rainbow Cat, and Feral Cat): One of these cards is powerlsess on its own, but two, when played together, (as long as they match) allow you to randomly pick a card from the computer’s hand. A feral cat can be any cat card you want. For example, you could play a Beard Cat and a Feral Cat together (using the Feral Cat as a Beard Cat) and achieve exactly the same thing as you would with two Beard Cats. You can also play two Feral Cats. In this game, if you had, for example, a Tacocat and a Feral Cat, and you wanted to play them together, enter the list number of the Tacocat, not the Feral Cat. Swap top and bottom: Play this card to swap the top card of the deck with the bottom card of the deck. Draw from the bottom: End your turn by, instead of drawing from the top of the deck as usual, draw from the bottom of the deck. Bury: When you play this card, at the end of your turn, if you draw, the drawn card is returned to a random spot in the deck. Congratulations! You scrolled all the way to the bottom! You should be rewarded. Your reward: 1. You can play 1 skip card to skip both of your turns in an attack. 2. If you play a bury card, then a skip card, then on your next turn, you will bury the card that you draw. 3. You should definitely click the heart and the star.
