This program creates the Wheel of Theodorus. The Wheel of Theodorus is a shape made from right triangles which build off each other by the a or b of one triangle being the c for another. This is also known as the Spiral of Theodorus, Square Root Spiral, Einstein Spiral or Pythagorean Spiral. When the wheel reaches the border of the screen, it glitches, so please resolve this in remixes.
I was inspired from posters I saw at school done by Pre-Algebra students about the Wheel of Theodorus. I became interested in this spiral and I wanted to present something at my school's maker fair, so I created this program. I was also inspired to make the outside edges stand out by mariogeek's Wheel of Theodorus 100% Pen at https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/42497748/. In case you are wondering what the ball is doing in the middle of the screen, it is just there so I can point the button sprite (the pen) at the origin because a goes to the origin and b is angled 90 degrees of of a. This helps ensure that the pen is facing the correct direction when it draws b.
