The TurboWarp Mod helps speed up the rendering immensely, so try it with this link: https://turbowarp.org/1097651584/fullscreen?hqpen&turbo It randomly draws points so you can get an idea of what it looks like, and if you press spacebar it will do a full on render. Mouse up to change the sliders to affect the quality, R = Distance from black hole (in multiples of Rs) FOV = Field of View from top to bottom. Disk Extent = How far the disk extends (in multiples of Rs, change to 3 to get rid of the disk) Roll = Tilt the camera Resolution = quality (If you want higher resolution make it lower, but it will take longer to render) This is what I used to create my new profile picture as of 11/16/24 #Space #Black Hole
I made a newer version with a spinning black hole here: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1196255589/ Once finished I used this for my profile picture. I found a tutorial on YouTube by Alessandro Roussel, the creator of the channel Science Clic, where he describes how you would go through the process of rendering a black hole. Titled: Comment simuler un trou noir? It's in French, so you'll might need English subtitles. Here's the link if you want to try make your own: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PjWjZFwz3rQ you could also get the code to make your own by reading this discussion: https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/616618/
