Welcome to Among the Sky! A game heavily inspired by a game made by Google called "Whirlybird", which unfortunately got discontinued. This game is by no means finished and most of it is subject to change. I have a lot to add. I would love to hear any suggestions or bugs so please let me know! How to play: You play this game just by moving left and right (with the left and right keys). You bounce on the floating pads and try to get as high as possible! Some pads do different things so watch out! Also, press M to mute the music. (Pssst! You can also change your skin by pressing Space!) This game was made for griffpatch's "Going Up" game jam. Changelog: v1.10 - The game should now never give you impossible situations with the level gen (I hope). Going too far with a spring is fair game. I also added... a sky! Wow! v1.9 - Removed the countdown to 2025 (that was the secret) v1.8 - Changed the death sound to be slightly better, fixed a bug with skin changing, and added something (it's a secret) v1.7 - Fixed a bug with the hat v1.6 - Added a menu and death effects v1.5 - Added spike pads (subject to change) and hopefully fixed a bug with special pads not activating v1.4 - Changed the hat color v1.3 - Added sounds for v1.2 update v1.2 - Added the spring platform and the hat platform as well as changed level generation slightly. v1.1 - Fixed a bug with collapsing pads and added sound effects and music. v1 - Initial release.
