Note: I will not be using this song, there will be background music and voice lines, but for now, I'm just gonna leave it Prologue: Aelfrun dashed up the hill, her paws pounding as hard as her heart. she crested the hill, the wind tossing her cloak about as the young acolyte caught her breath. the sight of the cozy little cottage in the valley below filled her with fear for the family within. sitting back, Ael raised her paws, summoning all the star energy she could, before releasing it in a brief, but brilliant flash. down in the valley, from behind the curtains of the cottage, Emerlind whirled to her husband, exclaiming quietly "that was it!" Arashi, her husband, bent down and gently picked up their son, Astrophel, before quietly slipping out. he dashed up the hill toward Ael, silently cursing his bright afterimage. "Hurry, they're coming!" the young acolyte pranced back and forth nervously as Arashi, exhausted from a sleepless night and a grueling climb, dragged himself up to the top. "I can't," he panted, gently placing Astro down. "take him. your faster and can go more unnoticed than I can." when Aelfrun hesitated, he shouted "NOW!" Ael jumped forward, quickly picking up Astrophel before disappearing into the night. Arashi let out a sigh of relief. Aelfrun would find Astro a good home, far away from all this pointless drama. turning back toward his home and padding silently down the path, a prickle ran up his spine. "Riyu, you have no need to hide," he called out calmly, not turning. "unless your guilty of something." "I suspect you are," a raspy voice hissed, a dark purple cat emerging from the darkness behind Arashi. "Where is Astrophel?" "don't you know?" Arashi turned to Riyu, his eyes flashing. Chapter one:
