Hello! Welcome to Life Questions Explained, a series where I'll go over any questions you all have about, well, life! Idk it's pretty self explanatory XD Anyway, today's theme is:... Why does time seem to go faster as we grow older? If you've never experienced this phenomenon, you're either too young or too busy to notice. Those who know what I'm talking about are probably as curious as I was. Well, here's my best explanation: Say it's Christmas day for a 5-year-old kid. He's been waiting an entire year for this day; that's 1/5 of his life! This kid has only experienced 4 other Christmases. Now, compare that to a 50-year-old on Christmas day. He's also waited a year for this day, right? Not really as big of a deal. Why? He's lived 45 more years than the kid in the previous example. One year is only 2% of his life. So, there you go! That's how I'd explain it, if you have another example, feel free to share in the comments! And please let me know if you have any other big questions! Learner_of_Stuff -> out ;)
