Chapter 4 - Error (sorry for my bad grammar I no like englishhh) Chuuya laid down on his luxury mattress as he stared up at the ceiling blankly. The roof was a plain and dull yellow color while the walls were more of a gray tone. Pain surged through his body as he stayed unmoving. Why was this happening to him? This had never happened before. Concern was within his thought process at the time, yet nobody else's. After all, since this pain started he hasn't left his room. Yet nobody became worried or thought this to be out of the ordinary, considering how much Chuuya has hangovers after rough incidents. They simply assumed the same happened again. Checking his body again he noticed the red mark, still there from corruption even though it had been dispelled by no longer human. Yet he doesn't feel as if he is losing any control over his body. As Chuuya sits up he uses his ability to gently float an empty wine bottle over into his hand. It soon touches his palm as he deactivated his ability with no problem. Testing again, Chuuya took off one of his gloves and tried to manipulate the nearby gravitas as if he was in his corrupted form, yet nothing happened so he put the glove back on with a sigh. As the clock hit noon however, the confused ginger reluctantly decided to sit up and walk around the Port mafia headquarters to get some fresh air. . . . “Dazai-san!” A young voice shouted from across the room of the Armed Detective Agencies headquarters. “What are you doing this time?” Dazai glanced up tiredly at the white haired boy who had greeted him with such enthusiasm that he lacked. “Eh ... .well right now I'm just thinking how to annoy Kunikida but I can't come up with anything!! MY imagination is completely dried out!” He complained. “Maybe a walk would help?” The cat-like boy asked with a bright smile. “Maybe your right atsushi.” Dazai sait as he stood up and spoke with a grin. “Maybe I'll read some of my book while we're at it! Who knows maybe I'll find the perfect spot to reach a quiet end to myself!” Atsushi noded and chuckled. “L-let's not do that. We still need your help at the agency so we can take care of the threats such as the Guild…maybe after that- ok?” “Fineeee” Dazai groaned as he walked out of the agency headquarters and onto the crowded streets of Yokohama. . . . Chuuya sighed, there was nothing interesting to do and no matter how hard he tried he couldn't get this pain to subside. The idea of meeting up with Dazai for assistance was in the back of his mind, but quickly brushed off as he glared at the ground. “As if I'd ever need help from that beanpole” He thought as he walked in the direction of Morris' office. The dim lights shined like a mixture of the moon and the sun as the metal doors that surrounded all possible entrances and mirrors to the office closed. After all, we couldn't have anybody walking in and scouting out anything about the port mafia and its members, especially the leader himself, Mori Ougai. cont in N and C
cont here Exiting the office Chuuya looked at the ground with a sigh of annoyance. He was given another hitman job. When you do something so much it eventually becomes dull and monotonous, which was exactly how some of the mafia work was to Chuuya, unless he had an opponent worthy of his ability. Walking along the streets to the abandoned district, the sun shone down onto a particular building, almost like a sign from greater forces that this was the desired location. This was the target. As Chuuyas hair blown in the wind like leaves falling in the autumn, he kicked down the door, soon being met with some low class thieves who stole from the Mafia's weapon supplies. This was his target. After mere seconds of eye contact Chuuya reached for his pocket taking out his *Kachower* and aiming it at one of them. “You're lucky I’m making this quick.” He said. “If it were somebody like Dazai, you wouldn't be so lucky.” Yet even when he put his hand on the trigger, he felt a sharp pain. Looking down at his arm he noticed some red marks spreading down it, but he never activated corruption, he never used arahabakis ability. The men chuuya was targeting looked confused as the Ginger dropped the *kachower*, but they quickly reacted picking up their own *kachowers* and doing the same thing Chuuya did to them, aim. In quick succession before the first shots were fired Chuuya quickly reversed his gravity going onto the roof, yet what he did not expect was for the glove he took off earlier to slip off revealing even more marks on the same arm. Was his test earlier not a failure? Did it really work? Chuuya felt part of his mind go foggy as a black orb appeared in his hand, one of his black holes. Without thinking Chuuya jumped off the roof onto the ground, all the bullets fired simply bouncing off him as he threw the black holes that materialized from his hands at his enemy with a slight confusion. WHy was he doing this? He never activated his ability. Yet before he could deal the finishing overkill blow to some of his enemies he felt part of his mind becoming clearer and some of the marks going back, yet not fully gone as they stayed all the way down his arm. Quickly fumbling over Chuuya grabbed his glove and put it back on his hand, his consciousness completely coming back to him as he picked up his *kachowers* finishing off any enemies he missed with no remorse. . . . Those noises. Dazai knew those noises. Corruption noises. He quickly ran in the direction of the sounds he heard, the falling buildings, the screams of terrors. Yet he didn't actually hear anything, he just felt it in his gut. Something was wrong, something was wrong and he needed to get to that location. Now. . . . Bursting through the door, panting from running all the way across Yokohama, Dazai was met with an unusual sight. There was the normal, the bodys, the aftermath of a fight, yet there were the signs, the holes in the ground and Chuuya standing in the middle of it. Corruption had activated and had stopped. Yet Dazai never had to stop it. This had never happened before. “So has CHuuya finally learnt how to control his own ability~” Dazai teased with a smirk. “Maybe next you'll be able to control your height! Hatrack.” “Shut up.” Dazai stopped teasing , his expression turning serious. He rarely heard that cold tone, that serious tone around Chuuya. Well, that's a lie. He heard it often, but it was never this deep. “What happened here? How did you activate corruption?” Dazai said as he took a step closer to CHuuya. “That's none of your business.” Chuuya responded as he walked off, yet he forgot one thing. The small gap between his sleeve and his glove showed one of those bright red marks and Dazai immediately reached and touched CHuuya, barely skimming him with his ability activated. Yet the marks did not go away, causing the brown-haired man's eyes to widen. Yet before he could say anything, Chuuya was already gone.
