Theory one If you look closely at Salmonpaw and her siblings and then at ???star, you'll notice that ???star and Salmonpaw's sibling on the very left (Troutpaw) have similar cheek stripes. Salmonpaw's paws look like Hazepelt's paws, only a different color. Except that in Salmonpaw's conversations with Hazepelt don't seem like interactions between mother and daughter, and Goldencloud doesn't have a love life, which leaves Cherrypaw, who has the same eye color as Salmonpaw and Mackerelpaw but not Troutpaw except we can't really tell what ???star's eye color is or there could be odd genetics involved. As for how they meet, some people theorized that Cherrypaw is becoming more of a side character while Adderpaw might be entering a villan arc. Adderpaw, Cherrypaw, and Cobweb are on the cover of The Old Apartment, meaning something happened there. I think Cherrypaw might flee the clan to escape Adderpaw and meet ???star, even to only stay in the same shelter for a night and come back later. Then some amount of time Cherrypaw might go back to the clan and bring the kits. They could also be orphans, but it just seems unlikely. Adderpaw's villan arc could also cause Featherstar and Redeye's death, although Redeye's would be first. Adderpaw's eye color is the same as Troutpaw's eye color. Other people have theorized that ???star and ??? are Cherrypaw's parents, which would make more sense because of ages, so Cherrypaw and Adderpaw are probably Salmonpaw, Troutpaw, and Mackerelpaw's parents. Troutpaw and Mackerelpaw are probably already in StarClan because they aren't referred to as Trout??? and Mackerel???.
Theory two Cobweb looks like Featherstar and a few other characters. Hazepaw says that ??? (OJ) looks a little bit like Cobweb. Cobweb also has white paws. After Hazepelt eats the rat that she caught for the wolf, paint appears on her ear again. Hazepaw got paint on her ear when she was with Cobweb. So the wolf could be Cobweb. Also a lot of mysteries though. Cobweb also could also be related to Salmonpaw and her siblings.
