History: The Sarmon M-10a is the PAF's first standard assault rifle, first issued in 1966. Chambered in 5.90mm Patzian, the M-10a has a 25 round magazine, closed bolt, fixed aperture iron sights and a selective fire mode lever mounted above the trigger. The receiver group and bolt carrier is made of chrome and stainless steel, while the grip, magazine, stock and handguards are made with polymer plastic. The M-10a is extremely user-friendly, with simple parts and workings that can be easily fixed in combat, basic safety systems and reliable components. Though reliable and handy, the M-10a lacks severely in accuracy, with a mere 210m effective range and extremely fragile and ineffective aperture sights, causing the M-10a to fare terribly in long range battles as the recoil from the powerful 5.90mm cartridges severely screwed up the sight rings, mis-aligning them and effectively rendering the rifle useless. ----------------- Specs: Capacity: 25 rounds (STANAG) Cartridge: 5.90mm Patzian Fire rate: 850 rpm Range: 210m (Effective) 2100m (Max)
