Basically the equivalent of Asian LOL) {PERSONALITY} Often ever so cheerful, Marly is quite the spirit! She tends to be talkative and friendly, eager to meet new people as she sees fit. A good judge of character, she's also observant, sometimes staying quiet if she wants to. Marly seems to mold her personality to the situation if she finds it applicable, whether it calls her to be boisterous and loud, quiet and watchful, or even harsh and judge-mental. With her friends and loved ones Marly is caring and attentive, loving to spend time with them. She does her best to regulate her emotions, doing her best to be positive. In doing so, she's formed a strange habit of passive aggressively smiling at people while reprimanding them. At her core she tends to be childish and gleeful, but has kept that guarded due to past experience. A jack of all trades, one can find Marly doing a plethora of things, from her art shows to giving public speeches. She does her best to stay clear of drama, often acting innocent of such topics to steer clear. Tricky to deal with if brought onto her bad side, pleasant most if not all the time, Marly is quite the character. {BACKSTORY} Her parents moved from Ionia to Piltover, where she was born. Marly grew up alongside her two younger siblings, a child of play and curiosity. In her education, she often excelled in such. She's received backlash from students and others for her race, and due to these behaviors, she heavily sympathizes with those from Zaun, looking up on them with kind eyes. In her later years she joined Piltover's Academy as an art student. One strange day, she finds herself in a special little spot she's found, and has been going to over the years. The only difference today was she finds a strange figure watching her from a distance. The next day, Marly finds herself being tasked with touring around a new student around the school. She's greeted by amber eyes and brown hair, and happily takes up the task. While she doesn't realize it yet, the individual she's with was the one curiously watching her yesterday. Viktor already realized that, but decided not to say, not wanting to ruin the moment of Marly rambling and leading him around. The two become fast friends, visiting one another's dorms and causing mischief around the Academy halls (by mischief, moreso by running around and laughing loudly). When Viktor does tell her about that first day, she pauses, before finding it hilarious. Their friendship is a strong one, both always there for the other. Marly stands up for Viktor when he's bullied for his reputation as a Zaunite, he does her favors as an assistant to Heimerdinger. They both drag one another to bed on late nights, both hardworking to self sabotage. Feelings are tossed around a year into their friendship, with Viktor finding himself falling first for that short, colorful woman. It takes Marly a while to find herself pining, stopping in her tracks one day with the sudden thought. Awkward and childish, the mutual pining stage is filled with small touches and giggles, neither wanting to make a move, neither having been in a relationship before. Viktor made the first big move, on a hangout that seemed just too over the top to be anything ordinary. Shocked and surprised, feelings are reciprocated quickly. Huzzah!!!! They're dating now!!! The two are very physically affectionate with one another, often cuddling at night. And pet names everywhere YAAY!! In her time she gets involved with the incident of a building blowing up upon mysterious circumstances, and with this she meets Jayce, and ultimately supports the plan. The two eventually become friends as well! Over the timeskip between episodes 3 and 4, Marly and Viktor get married no way!!!!! She stays by his side throughout the difficulty of his illness, and continues to stay loyal to her husband.
