heyyyyyyyyyy! i literally haven't been on scratch in so long, but now I'm back and I'm returning to my usual random posts. anyways, tap the screen or press the right arrow key to go forward. about the poems: life - this is just a random thought I had. it's my spin on the common phrases "it is what it is" and "life is what you make it" despite being a flower - this one is about how we often learn more from our failures than our successes things I can promise - this poem is just a comforting message about how no matter what uncertainty there is in the world, there are some things that can always be promised, one of them being change. long gone - this is about when people try to hold on to their relationship with you even after you've given up people watching - this one is pretty self-explanatory. it's literally about people watching and emotionally connecting with strangers face time, incense smoke, and home - this is about a character in a book I'm writing. she's gay, and the only person she's come out to is her aunt, who she feels more at home with than any other family member, even her own parents. but her aunt lives far away, so she's always feeling homesick and alone.
