The World’s Smallest and Biggest Octopus: - The World’s Smallest Octopus: The Octopus Wolfi Habitat: Fairly shallow waters in the Western Pacific. Size: Less than 2.5 cm. Weight: Less than 1g. - The World’s Biggest Octopus: The Giant Pacific Octopus. Habitat: Reefs and pilings. Size: 2 feet (60 cm), arm span 7 feet (2 m) and often exceeding 13 feet (4 m). Weight: 15 kg. - Similarities: Have 3 hearts. Have 8 (eight) arms. Have a sharp beak. Can live from 1-5 years. - Differences: The Octopus Wolfi: 2.5 cm long, weights 1g. The Giant Pacific Octopus: 60 cm long, weights 15 kg.
