INTRO: Sosososo you might be wondering what this is. Well, ya girl’s gonna try and write a novel! Problem is, I don’t have enough characters. Which is where you come in! If you want a character to be featured in this book, feel free to submit one! (Just know that there isn’t a guarantee I’ll use them, or that they’ll have the exact role you want) SETTING: Okay, so I haven’t figured out all the details yet, but the basic plot of the story is that this boy James is transported to another dimension and given the power of death by a god, Erebos. There he finds that the government of this new world is incredibly oppressive and corrupt, so he decides to start a rebellion. Also, everyone in this universe is born with magic, and at least one power. Usually. Character roles needed: Rebels (fight to overthrow the Empire, some may switch sides) Rosa Empire soldiers (fight to stop the rebels, some may have a redemption arc and switch sides) Nobles (higher class citizens, most side with the Empire, but not all) Civilians (commoners, 50/50 rebel-Empire ratio) Felix RULES: - no Mary Sues please! Your character cannot be overpowered as that would disrupt the world building and the balance of the world - literally nothing else my mind is gone lol I will add more if needed CAST OF CHARACTERS: these are the characters so far! Descriptions (Their looks): CHECK THE ART Protagonists (The Chosen): - James Elegy - 17 - he/him, unlabeled - the boy from another world, Erebos’s chosen, James possesses the power to commune with the dead and to k1ll anything he touches without gloves. He is incredibly outgoing, friendly, and loyal, with a charming grin and a magnetic presence. - Nari Kim - 16 - she/her, demiromantic/ace - an unusual prodigy, with a total of four extremely powerful abilities. Nari can fly and read minds and possesses telekinesis and mind control. She is very intelligent, her specialty being strategy, and is the brains behind the rebellion. However she is also manipulative and cunning, using her beauty to her advantage to gain support and influence. - Zara Latif - 17 - she/any, omnisexual - Zara comes from a bloodline that derives their power from animals. Zara’s animal is a cheetah, providing her with enhanced speed, agility, and stamina, among other things. Zara is easygoing and competitive, someone who is always up for a challenge. Perhaps the most ‘normal’ of her group, Zara is the backbone, supporting everyone behind the scenes. - Estelle Marchand - 16 - she/her, lesbian - Estelle was born powerless, ordinary. But she is a capable fighter and strategist. Unlike her friends, Estelle has no speciality, proving herself to be a ‘Jack-of-all-trades.’ Later in the story, she is forcibly turned into a cyborg which grants her enhanced strength and intelligence, along with immunity to most abilities. Estelle is somewhat cynical and dry, but she is loyal and reliable when it counts. While she clashes with the others occasionally, James in particular, she cares for them all deeply. Secondary Protagonists (The Rebels/The ‘Others’): A second group of rebels, with strange powers. Their numbers and strength are admirable, but where did they come from? Can they be trusted? - Nox Sanchez - 19 - he/him, straight - the leader of these other rebels. He possesses incredible charisma and intellect, but what are his true intentions behind that charming smile? Abilities- extremely powerful charmspeak/mind control, underwater breathing due to his mother’s ability - Lennox ‘Len’ Scott - 17 - he/they, bi/ace - Nox's right hand, Len is quiet, cold, and unreadable. He dismisses everyone and acts disdainful, but is extremely loyal, reliable, and kind although he tries to hide it. Len is also quite the strategist and medic, along with being an extremely skilled musician. Abilities - teleportation - Ailsa Scott - 19 - she/her, unlabeled - Len’s older sister and perhaps the only person he loves. Ailsa is a kind soul, with a heart of gold. Literal ray of sunshine. She has no specialty, helping out wherever she can. Abilities - plant manipulation Villains: [???] - she/her, unknown - the faceless empress at the helm of this all.
