first of all. friendship. studios. are. exclusive. and no, i'm not complaining, "oh, why don't ygs let me join?" i'm doing this for the sake of ppl who are not part of these groups and have FEELINGS. okay. you say, "it's just like a group chat! you guys don't have problems with group chats on your phones!" well maybe that's cuz you don't know abt the ones you're NOT invited to! but here, on scratch, EVERYONE knows about these friendship studios. EVERYONE can see. you say, "make your own!" why do you think these ppl want to join? b/c they want to get to know these popular scratchers! these aesthetic, cool, awesome scratchers! friendship studios are places to chat with your friends. not letting ur FRIENDS join is like saying, "oh, uh, yeah, i'm your friend, but uh, maybe go chat with someone else?" like srsly. how much time does it take to add ur friends to a studio? to a CHAT studio?!?! what HARM does it do? even if they're not one of your closest friends or considered "cool" or "popular"?! you say, "i don't want random ppl." well instead of saying, "oh you can't join! invite only!", why don't you say, "only close friends are invited!" and if someone asks to join, you can say: "sorry, idk you, and this studio is for my friends!" OR "i'd love to when i get to know you better!" and let them take the hint. i'm in group chats! but here's an example: group 1 is called concerta (our choir group). group 2 is called choir besties. group 3 is called og besties. well, not all ppl in concerta are in choir besties. but they don't know that. and not all choir besties are "og besties"! but they don't know about these group chats. yeah, it's exclusive. i'm not saying that these studios are and group chats aren't. i'm saying that comparing friendship studios to group chats, saying that we don't care about not being in some group chats, ISN'T a fair comparison. and you're calling all this drama, ppl speaking out..."cr4p"? you're calling ppl's /feelings/, ppl's /emotions/, ppl's /opinions/, cr4p? if YOU were in that situation, if YOU weren't part of these studios, would you NOT feel left out? think about it. now, i do NOT mean to insult any of you. i'm just stating my opinion. ik that many of you disagree with me, and i'm happy to discuss in the comments. ty for reading.
note: i am NOT saying u should let random ppl join if they're not ur friends! just, it's kind of not nice the way u say, "INVITE ONLY! DON'T ASK TO JOIN!"
