Noun: a tendency to stutter while speaking. a stutter is a disability, the cause of this disability is unknown, but genetics are thought to play a signifigant role in it. (In my opinion as a person who stutters, its kind of the people around you that influence your stuttering, so if X is more quiet, and Y is louder. X is more likley to stutter trying to get their words out) you can grow out of stuttering, but your stutter may come back, (so if you grow out of a stutter at age 6 - your stutter may come back when you are a teenager) some days it may be tough to say a word. but other days that word may come easy. a stutter is basically a repitition of sounds, syllables or words, you could have a block- which is similar to a prolonged pause, where the speaker knows what they want to say, but they cant get it out. (for this lil bean- she will have a minor stutter, and when there is a time of high emotion, she will be more likley to stutter, because her mouth is moving faster than her words.) stuttering is different for all people, and this is how I experience stuttering, and how my research have described it. some people may agree with how I describe it, while others will not, just take that into account please. ❀ ~+asthma+~ Asthma is a chronic lung disease affecting people of all ages. It is caused by inflammation and muscle tightening around the airways, which makes it harder to breathe. Symptoms can include coughing, wheezing, shortness of breath and chest tightness. asthma can have many causes, indoor allergens, outdoor allergens, emotional stress, physical activity, and infections that have to do with the respiratory system. you can grow out of asthma, but not all people do. (with my experience with athsma, if you have an asthma attack you feel like you are breathing through a straw, and you can feel the attack coming on. you can stop it with your rescue inhailer, but its not like the movies, where you take it and you are good-) asthma attacks are more likely to happen in the night (+)
