In the nursery, Universekit blinked his amber eyes open, stretching his small limbs while yawning. He always woke early, his mind buzzing with restless energy that never seemed to be quiet. Today, though something felt different. A strange, pulsing sensation had settled deep inside him, as if his body were out of sync with the world around him. He shifted in his bedding, trying to shake off the feeling, but it wouldn't go away. His paws tremballed slightly. "Good Morning, Universekit," his mother, Dewfall, greeted him gently. She was sitting by the nursery entrance, her gaze warm but shadowed with something that Universekit couldn't name. "Did you sleep well?" He opened his mouth to respond, but the words caught in his throat. The sensation inside him was growing stronger. His vision blurred as the world around him seemed to spin. Universekit tried to steady himself, but his body began to tremble uncontrollably. As he colapsed into his bedding. His mother's eyes widened, her calm exterior quickly began to fading into alarm. "Not again..." she whispered, rushing to his side. Universekit's body tensed, the familer, frighting feeling taking over him. His limbs jerked, his mind clouded with darkness. It always felt like his body was fighting against him, pulling him into something he didn't understand. Universekit moaned quietly. Dewfall brushed her paw down his back, helping him the tinyest bit. The world slipped away as his breath turned into short ragged gasps. Dewfall brushed him again, her voice trembling as she spoke. "Breath, Universekit. Your Strong! Your not alone!" As quickly as it began , the serzure passed. Universekit's body slowly relaxed, as he slowly regan his breath, and his dizziness in his head began to fade. His mother stayed by his side her gaze not even moving an inch. "I'm sorry, Mom" He gasped slowly his voice small. She nuzzled him gently, her voice soft as well. "You have nothing to apologize for, Universekit. You are strong and we can figure this out together." The world around him was felt quiter now, but the lingering ache from the seizure still pulsed through him. He tried to stand, but his legs felt unsteady, like they might give way at any mommnet. "I feel...different today," Universekit murmmered, his eyes glancing ard the sky, where the first stars of night lingered, jsut out of reach. "Like somethings calling me." Dewfall's tail flicked nervosly, but she hid it behind a small smile. "The star's speak in many ways, Universekit. But your path will be your own. No matter the trails you face, you must trust yourself. The star's have a reason for you." ' I hope...' Dewfall thought quietly to herself. Universekit looked up at his mother in a mixture of confustion and determination in his eyes. He didn't understand what she meant, but the feeling inside him wouldn't go away, And he knew, somehow, his journy was just begining. As his mother gave one last reasuring glance, she stood up and padded toward the entrance of the nursery. "I'll speak to the medicene cats...about your sezures I mean," she murmerd, looking back at him with a troubled expression. "Stay here for now, Universekit" He did as he was told, as he watched her go, a spark of curiosity flickering in his chest. His mother never went to the medicene den enless something was wrong. He knew something was being kept from him. ' What are they talking about' He woundered. ' Why does it feel like there's more to this than just my seizures?' He blinked up at the sky again, the weight of his thoughts heavy small shoulders.
