Scroll to bottom for TLDR I personally feel that it's quite upsetting that I feel the need to make a post about this, but I do. I've noticed a lot of minors (Especially under the age of 13) are sharing their age on this website. I understand many people on here are children, but there are adults on here like Griffpatch and Zinnea. Just because we have a majority minor population doesn't mean you're safe. Please do not share any personal information about yourself, especially your age. I am over the age of 13 and don't feel comfortable sharing my age anywhere. It disturbs me to see 9 year old's giving away their age online like it's no problem at all when it is. I only ever tell people I am close with and trust my age online. I would recommend you do the same, and for that extra stretch of trust, make sure that you have video called that person so you know any photos they may have sent you weren't AI generated or off of Google. Please, stay safe out there. The internet is a dangerous place and it hurts me to see young people putting themselves at risk due to a lack of knowledge about this. TLDR: I keep seeing little kids posting their ages on online websites and apps, its concerning, don't share any personal info unless you truly know and trust that person (known for at least two months and have video called multiple times, even then it's a bit minimal) stay safe, stay smart, don't share personal info online :)
