✺ BIO ✺ Name: Kyoh’ta (kee-OH-tuh) Gender: Female Age: 14 Species: Khimetrian ✺ BACKSTORY ✺ The beings who inhabited the planet of Khimet were known for their unique tails and bright, glowing eyes. The planet itself was very far from any sun; it was shrouded in near total darkness and blasted with freezing cold temperatures hundreds below zero. However, it didn’t need one. Khimet’s life forms were perfectly adapted to freezing temperatures and darkness. The glow from their bodies was more than enough to create light in a sustainable environment. One particular Khimetrian stood out from the others in her community; a girl named Kyoh’ta. As a child, she was given the nickname ‘Strangeling’ for her odd mannerisms. Kyoh’ta hardly spoke with the exception of the occasional “No” when asked “Are you actually dead?”. Kyoh’ta was spacey; it was as if her mind was always on another planet. Kyoh’ta always sniffed the air before entering a room; if she caught a scent that she didn’t like, nothing could make her enter that room. Kyoh’ta hated crunchy foods. Kyoh’ta had difficulty expressing her emotions. Kyoh’ta had a tendency to isolate herself from others. Finally, Kyoh’ta had a strong sense of curiosity, one that led her to look for true light. Every morning, Kyoh’ta visited the cliff by which her family’s home was built near. With every visit, she became more drawn to its depths, mesmerized by a faint light that emanated from below. Finally, she could withstand it no longer. She jumped, peacefully diving off the cliff’s edge. The world above meant nothing to her; all that mattered was the light. She fell, she had been falling, and she would keep falling. In that phase between the sky and the ground, between darkness and light, Kyoh’ta found herself standing on stable ground. What she discovered was beyond anything her strange mind could’ve envisioned. A new world, bursting with light and color was before her. Trees of green and skies of blue and clouds of white and flowers of all shapes and colors. The light from a radiant golden orb suspended effortlessly in the sky brought life to everything upon the surface; and all of its surface was her oyster. TL;DR: Weird little alien from a dark planet yearns for light. She sees light at the bottom of a cliff. She jumps off of the cliff and discovers she has teleported to Earth. Eeeeee here’s my entry! I totally procrastinated on this but honestly WHATEVER bc it turned out GREAT imo I hope the backstory wasn’t too confusing, it just sort of came to me lol bruh why does the title look like it says ‘strangling’ lol she won’t strangle you i promise :’0
