A: Any artist who wants to join can comment the form above. They will be added to the list of participants. On Dec 20, I will randomly assign each artist another one. The original artist will draw one of the characters or OCs of the artist they were matched with and post it by Jan 5. The art will belong to the artist they were assigned, who can then use it however they please - with a few restrictions. Q: What can the artist I am assigned do with my art? A: They can use it for a profile pic, a thumbnail, a Banner, or basically anything else. However, they can't claim they drew it, retrace or recolor without your permission, or neglect the original artist (they have to credit you). Q: Does the art have to have a specific theme? A: It depends. No, it doesn't have to be holiday-related UNLESS their OC/character is holiday-themed. You can't change the original OC/character, so if the character is red and you want them to fit a pastel aesthetic you have to work around it. Q: Can I ask questions about the artist's OC/character? A: No. The point of a Secret Santa is to keep it secret until the deadline! (Jan 5) For any artists entering, it's probably smart to make a reference for your OCs and characters before Dec 20. Q: Can I leave out some of my characters? A: Yes! If there are characters you would rather not have drawn by other people, please do omit them. I don't want anyone to feel like their characters have been stolen. Q: What is the Secret Santa reveal? A: On Jan 5, I will comment on each artist's profile with a link to their Secret Santa gift! Please wait until you receive the comment to view your gift, otherwise it gets confusing. Q: What are the drawing results? A: Sometime between the 20th and 22nd, I will comment on each artist's profile with the artist whose OC/character they will be drawing! Q: Can you explain the deadlines better? A: Of course! The deadline for entering is Dec 20. This means that you can enter the 19th, but other stuff will be interfering on the 20th and you won't be able to enter by then. The deadline for posting the art is Jan 5. This means that you can enter the 4th, but other stuff will be interfering on the 5th and you won't be able to enter by then. Q: What if I just want to draw somebody's OC and not have mine drawn? Q: What if I just want to have my OC drawn and not draw someone else's? A: The answer to both of these is: Please do not enter if you only want to do one side of it. This is a give-and-get kind of thing. Q: How many people can enter? A: There's no limit!
