"Dear Elizabeth Potter," I read, "I received your letter and I am so very sorry but you do not reach our age requirements and we can not let you enroll early. You will receive your letter to attend Hogwarts later this year-" I stopped reading it and threw the letter onto the group as I stormed off. I couldn't believe he wouldn't even give me a chance. I slammed the door of my cupboard. Hard. Maybe a little too hard. I heard the footsteps and I knew I was in big trouble. My cupboard door was flung open. "ELIZABETH GRACE POTTER!" Screamed Uncle Vernon. "You do not slam doors in this house!" I sat there staring at him in silence. I didn't want to argue today, I just wanted to go to Hogwarts just like Harry. He didn't know how lucky he was to go to a school far away from "home". A couple weeks passed and I laid down with my head on my pillow. Suddenly I heard a loud bang come from upstairs. I ran upstairs to figure out what was going on. I saw Harry getting in a flying car! "Wait!" I yelled. Harry looked back. "Let me come too!" Harry and the other boys in the car stared at me. "Fine Ellie but be quick and grab your stuff!" he said. I ran down the stairs and grabbed my stuff. By the time I made it back upstairs there was Uncle Vernon grabbing Harry by the ankle! I pushed him away and jumped into the car. I listened carefully as the boys talked trying to figure out who they were. They all had ginger hair and freckles. After a while I figured out that they were Harry's friends from school. "Is that your sister?" asked one of the boys. "Yes. Her name is Ellie, Ellie this is Ron, Fred and George," replied Harry. I smiled at Ron and he smiled back. After a very long time we arrived at a home that was very tall and not very wide. I assumed it was Ron's house. I was very confused on what I was going to do. I would either go back home or stay with the Weasly's which would be very awkward for me because I would be the only child there with some random adults I've never met. I sat down at the table with everyone else as we ate breakfast. I didn't eat, I felt to awkward eating with a random family. That was all until a young girl came down the stairs. "Mum, have you seen my jumper?" She asked. Then she looked at me. I smiled at her and she waved back. She sat down in a chair next to me and started talking to me. Her name was Ginny and was going to start her first year. It took me a while to realize I was finally free from the Dursley's. Free from my cupboard. And free from that awful life. I was free.
