"wag ka magalala, buhay ay di karera" -Karera, BINI "life's no a race or smth kiddos, don't pressure yourself" aka what the line means (not the translation i don't give that)
i'm filipino (it's obvious in my profile i think), and i hear abt the ppop (pinoy pop) group called bini everywhere, in the news (bc abscbn handles them), on social media, my siblings, outdoors, school, i mean everywhere in the philippines. i first heard of the "nation's girl group" last january where my sister played pantropiko (idk what that means) for some reason and like the next month they went viral with pantropiko and salamin salamin (ik how to dance this one bc of my school) and that's amazing and cool but i don't really get the hype with them i think it's the genre bc i don't even listen to sb19 and bgyo or smth, they don't really hit that part of my brain that when you listen to an artist for the first time, you instantly like it and encourages you to listen to the other songs (like i did on ajr and twenty one pilots and probably taylor swift but i was already raised by her so ik what she sound like). bini does make good songs (as far as ik cuz i'm really not a fan), karera is a good example of a good motivating song but i think people overplayed it so i don't feel really good when listening to bini, overall they got some points to improve on, the music, the songwriting i think needs improvement too like they should also write their songs (karera was written by one of their members) and not rely on co-writers when writing a song
