Intro: Mapleshade in the nursery, laughing as Petalkit and Larchkit chase each other, and Patchkit is by Mapleshade's side 1: Mapleshade looks up at Oakstar from the foot of the HighRock, before walking away to the river 2: Mapleshade and her kits fall into the river once a wave of water sweeps over them, and Mapleshade sees her kits float past her 3: Appledusk tells Mapleshade to grab onto the stick and pull herself out, and Mapleshade climbs out, wailing once she sees her kits laying on the floor, curled up and unmoving 4: Mapleshade flinches as Appledusk mutters that he was wrong to take Mapleshade as a mate, and Mapleshade is thrown out of RiverClan, and she growls in anger and sadness and runs to the barn, where she intends to rest 5: Mapleshade wakes up in a dream, back at the river, where churning black water sweeps over her kits, her kits frantically trying to swim back to the surface and their wails muffled by the water 6: Mapleshade wakes up and runs out onto the moor, growling as she heads for highstones, eyes narrowed in anger 7: Mapleshade waits for Ravenwing to enter the moonstone, her fur outlined with the moonlight, and when it says "Since you've been gone", have Mapleshade slide her claws out and lip-sync 8: Mapleshade lip-syncs, and flick her tail, and once Ravenwing enters, she tackles him 9: Mapleshade slashes Ravenwing's throat and watches the other medicine cats look at Ravenwing in horror, and they don't notice Mapleshade behind the Moonstone 10: Larchkit's ghost disappears, now looking happy, while Petalkit and Patchkit are still crying for help 11: Mapleshade has a flashback of the river, and the wave pulling her and her kits under, and the current Mapleshade lip-syncing 12: Patchkit's ghost turns around when it says "Your sweet little eyes", and looks like he is laughing out of joy 13: Mapleshade cries out, reaching out her paw to her youngest kit, who disapperas 14: Mapleshade shakes herself awake and heads for Snakerocks 15: Mapleshade lures Frecklewish to Snakerocks, and the adder attacks Frecklewish 16: Mapleshade laughs and walks away, to the river, where she attacks Reedshine, but Appledusk jumps in front of Reedshine and ends up being killed 17: Perchpaw fatally wounds Mapleshade and watches her writhe and collaspe on the ground Outro: Ravenwing's body, Frecklewish's and Appledusk's body all showing, and then to Mapleshade's, and then she wakes up in the dark forest
