Why hello, people of Scratch! I have returned from another eons-long pseduo hiatus to bestow this project upon you, only to recede back into the abyss. I am here, and now I am not. Hello, goodbye, hello, goodbye. This was a school project I put together in a week for my Honors Humanities Class. I was tasked with making a PSA on a philosopher of my choice, and I thought to myself, "Hydro, you read enough Marx and Camus as it is, why don't you explore the philosophy of someone new?" So I did! Somehow Malcolm X was on the list of philosophers I could choose so I did some research on him--oh my gosh, is he an interesting figure. He's quite the guy and his life story is really fascinating. The PSA here excludes a little bit of details--his time in the NOI and his scuffles with Hoover and the FBI, for instance, and I'm oversimplifying some of his ideas(especially the ones more connected to Islam). I hope that isn't too big an issue. He's worth reading about yourself. Music: Testify by Rage Against the Machine. I thought it was a fitting song given his philosophy.
