Dandy's World. A game I play in my freetime, which I enjoy. It has been 6 months since I've been playing, and I'll tell you about my experience overall. DANDY'S WORLD ITSELF: Dandy's World (without the community) is a fun game to play. With the infinite floors feature, you can always beat a highscore. Plus there is 28 toons to play (as of 0.7), making it nearly impossible to find a character that doesn't match your playstyle! Unfortunately, the game reeks with griefers and toonists. GRIEFERS: How can you grief in a co-op game? Well, griefers lead twisteds to another player so that they die. This isn't much of an issue to experienced players but for players who have just started, it's extremely annoying. The reason why people grief can be linked to being toonist. TOONISTS: What's a toonist? Toonists are people who do not like certain toons. That sounds fine right? Wrong. Toonists just don't dislike a toon, they also exclude them from their games, mostly Poppy and Boxten. But hold your horses, not all people that exclude Poppy and Boxten from their games are toonists, thats why it makes it so difficult to tell if someone is one. You can usually tell if someone is toonist by what they say when you ask them: "Why aren't you including starters? Not trying to be rude." I have 1 story for this topic, so get your popcorn! STORY A: Me (Sprout) and my friend (Toodles) were playing Dandy's World, I asked them if they wanted to duo or join a team. Toodles replied with "Duo." and so we went to the elevator. When all of a sudden, two starters get in the elevator, and so we leave it. Then they leave, and turn into main characters. They walk away as we say "We are duoing.". I can't imagine the embarrassment on their faces after they tried to accuse us of being toonist. STORY A THOUGHTS: Not only their are toonist people, but people who are constantly trying to accuse others of being toonist. Which in my opinion is just as bad as being toonist. PEOPLE WHO NEED DISTRACTORS (NEW): These kinds of people are interesting because they can't live without a distractor. This is usually because when they played the game early on, there was a distractor that made them last longer. This means that they haven't mastered the LoS principle, and will usually beg or in some cases harass a "distractor" toon to distract. STORY B (NEW): I was watching Vanixic (check him out!) doing a pebble extractor run, and I tried to do it myself. But in one run, there were 2 toons that left because I decided not to distract. STORY B THOUGHTS: The 2 toons in this story needed to rely on a distractor, and if you need a distractor before floor 10 (3 twisteds) it means that you havent actually played the game properly. Because distracting is what the community made up, not Qwel and her team.
