Random Thing I Made: Moonstar's Promise Part 1

Hey! This is Queenie. I guess I should clarify what this actually is. You know Harmony is canceled(look here for info: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1216648195), so you might be wondering why I'm releasing this. One reason: I liked the story. You might as well not connect this to Harmony at all. I released this out of obligation so I am most likely not making more. You don't have to read this to understand Harmony though. Now without further ado: a random thing I wrote! Part 1: "Moonpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and loyalty to WindClan from now until the day you die?" Yellowstar smiled down at Moonpaw, his golden fur shining under the newleaf sun. Moonpaw smiled back, eager to recive her warrior name. She and her best friend Lilacpaw had dreamed about it for so long, and here they were, and it was finally happening. "I do, Yellowstar." "Then by the powers bestowed upon me by StarClan as the leader of WindClan, your warrior name will be Moonglint. StarClan honors you for your loyalty and bravery and we welcome you as a full warrior of WindClan!" Moonglint watched happily as Lilacpaw stepped up to Yellowstar's rock and received the name of Lilacwhisper. After Yellowstar announced the end of the ceremony, and chants of "Moonglint! Lilacwhisper!" filled the air, Lilacwhisper gleefully bounced over to Moonglint. "We should go see our mentors," they mewed. "I want to see if Bluewhisker is happy he doesn't have an apprentice anymore." Moonglint laughed. Bluewhisker was a nice cat, but he was absolutely exasperated by Lilacwhisper. They had pestered him so much that he actually went to the clan deputy, Tigerflame, and asked him to make them a warrior early so he wouldn't have to deal with them anymore. Moonglint giggled and followed Lilacwhisper. Her mentor, Kestrelcall, had been expecting kits during Moonglint's assessment and was likely in the nursery now. The medicine cat Frostpool said her kits were going to come any day now. Moonglint brushed the reeds that hung from the nursery entrance and scanned the area for Kestrelcall. There was only one other queen, Hollytail, who's kits were now apprentices, however Hollytail had come back to the nursery after hearing that Kestrelcall was excpecting, and apparently she just wanted kits. "Hi, Kestrelcall. Hi, Hollytail. Are you excited for your kits?" Kestrelcall nodded. "I've already picked out names. I have two in mind. I want to name one Marigoldkit, after my favorite flower, and one Stormkit, because Yellowstar's warrior name was Yellowstorm. If I have more than two than I have other ideas." Moonglint nodded. "Those are great names. It will be good to have more kits in the clan." Hollytail nodded. "According to Frostpool it's a good omen for kits to be born in newleaf. Rabbitpaw and Grasspaw, my kits, were also born in newleaf, you know." Kestrelcall suddenly looked up at Moonglint as if she had forgotten she was there, and meowed, "Congratulations, Moonglint. I'm going to miss you, although I suppose it can't be helped, with you and Lilacwhisper being of age to be warriors and my kits coming any day now." Just a quarter moon later, the kits arrived. Moonglint and Lilacwhisper came to watch them be named. "Two toms and a she-cat." whispered Frostpool. Moonglint jumped, not having heard the medicine cat come in. Kestrelcall smiles. "I named the gray tom Stormkit and the red she-cat Marigoldkit, just like I knew I would. But I can't think of a name for the brown tom." Moonglint studied the tom, noticing the way his fur looked. "What about...Hawkkit? Because...the fur on his ears, kind of looks like wings, and hawks are brown..." Kestrelcall smiled even wider. "I love it! Stormkit, Marigoldkit and Hawkkit." Frostpool, appearing beside them, whispered, "Those kits will do something important someday. I can already tell."
