My Year Review —————————— CAPTIONS: Yo whats going on guys, Xama here. Since 2024 is coming to an end, I’ll make a little project here. I will be doing a recap of various things I’ve achieved this year. So, without further ado, let’s get started, shall we? [PART 1] During my time here on scratch, I’ve achieved a few things. For example, we’re getting kinda close to 100 followers. Back then, I didn’t really think I would reach 100. But now, I think I’ll might be able to reach it! With your help of course. Moving away from my follower count, I’d like to thank you for the little support. Due to your positive feedback and conversations, I had the feeling to not stop. It was rarely boring here on the scratch, and I had always fun. Now, my projects are also something I’d like to talk about. I’ve created actually a few games and animations this year. All of which I am proud of. Well, most of them. The game I am most proud of is Survivor legends. Fun fact: I made this game a long time ago, but it was to buggy. There were so many bugs, I just stopped working on it. But I once checked in, I understood what I did wrong and fixed it all. Another thing that happened that I wanna talk about isn’t actually about me. But I still want to talk about that person, since she is the reason why I animate. My inspiration for animating comes from a scratcher called Zuna Tuna. Even with only 8 projects, she has over 1500 followers. And the special thing is, that this year, she got featured by the scratch team. This just really shows how good she is. Thank you Zuna. Now, that’s the end of Part 1. Moving on to Part 2 [PART 2] During 2024, I learned new ways of coding here on scratch. One block I have used this year is this one: The if else block. It really helped me making my game. Especially when I want to make skins. I have also used the current month block. It allowed me to make different designs for different times of year. And this made the game a bit more unique. I was also able to learn how to use variables more efficiently. You can see that on my most popular game. Now this is the end of Part 2. Moving on to Part 3, the last one. [PART 3] Moving away from the code, and going to my art style. As some of you know, my OC has actually changed once. This is because the old one only had the upper body. And drawing the rest didn’t look good, so I have changed to this one. But my character wasn’t the only thing that changed. I also tried doing an animation in bitmap. Normally, I draw my characters on another app and upload them here. Or I use Vector and draw them here. But in my animation „Stairs“, I tried using bitmap. The are improvements, so pls tell me what I can do better. But for the start, I had pretty fun. [END] I actually don’t have anything to say anymore. So, this is the end for my review. I know this isn’t as much as my last one, but still something. With that being said, I wish you guys an early new year! See you in my next animation! Bye! ————————— Tags
