to customize the engine, go inside the "hitbox" sprite, and look at the list of variables in the top right of the sprite's codespace. each should have a comment explaining how it works! feel free to use however you want! credit me if you want; but it's definitely not required. i'd love to see what you make with this!
delta time is the difference between frames! you might of noticed the lack of this system when you change your fps for certain scratch games. most platformer projects don't really tackle delta time, so i decided to make an engine that fixes that! all made by me lol
