Information ************************************************************************ 1. What IS a DTA? DTA stands for Draw to Adopt. A DTA is a challenge where participants compete to win a character by drawing them! ************************************************************************ 2. How do I enter? Just remix the project with your entry! Please don’t tell me/ask me to enter or “I’m done! (Link)” because I will know when you remix it. I also don’t get very many messages, and just seeing “Can I enter?” is kinda a letdown. ************************************************************************ 3. How can I win? Whoever’s interpretation/drawing of the character I like most will win the character. ************************************************************************ 4. Rules *Be kind to me, yourself, and others *Complaining won’t get you anywhere, in fact, it will probably make me less likely to choose you to win. *Don’t claim the design as yours if you win, and credit me for design whenever you use it. *Don’t steal the design if you don’t win *No tracing, recoloring, etc. It must be YOUR OWN ART. *You can enter for as many as you want, but you can only win one. (If I were entering this, I don’t know how I would survive with winning only one—I love Darksky and Blazing Sun and Molten Lava and Aqua EQUALLY!) *Don’t beg for things. *Animations are allowed. *Project must be a remix UNLESS you are using a meme template or something like that. In that case, link me to the project in the comments of this project. *You may SLIGHTLY alter the designs, as long as the character is recognizable. *You may change the gender and name if you want. ************************************************************************ 5. Optional WTA A WTA is a Write to Adopt, where participants write their own backstories for the characters and the judge’s favorite backstory wins. I LOVE reading backstories, and a good backstory might up your chances of winning! I also understand that sometimes it’s hard to think up a backstory.
