due to the fact they have soft shells which make them vulnerable they tend to be very aggressive or bite ALOT so having a longer neck makes it more easier to defend themselves. their neck is also possibly the same size as their shell and yeah... dear god this ended up looking so cursed .·´¯`(>▂<)´¯`·.
