You must keep your plant alive. You are a chloroplast, and you have to make glucose using 6 water molecules, 6 carbon dioxide molecules, and sunlight. Once you have put your ingredients in, press the button to make glucose. While you make that, oxygen is released as a bi-product. That will find it's way to the mitochondria by itself, but you need to manually release the glucose to receive your paycheck. Keep in mind that sunlight is essential to photosynthesis, so make sure you do not run out of it. Press K to open the shop. Good luck. (extra info) Once the oxygen and the glucose get to the mitochondria, it makes ATP, oxygen, and water. Reactants of photosynthesis: CO2, H2O, sunlight Products: O2, glucose Reactants of mitochondria: O2, glucose Products: H2O, ATP, O2 Plants do photosynthesis to stay alive due to them having no mouths and not being able to move. The chemical equation for photosynthesis is 6CO2 + 6H2O → C6H12O6 + 6O2 and the equation for cellular respiration is C 6 H 12 O 6 + 6 O 2 --> 6 CO 2 + 6 H 2 O + ATP.
This was made for science class in around a week. a MASSIVE project is in the works...
