The aesthetic community is the known joy to those who love being organized and have an immense obsession for k-pop or anime, and it's filled with the aroma of interactivity, friends, jokes, getting yourself more recognized, and a full-on combat battleground, of which most arguments are on the most unnecessary things that seem to be just for the sake of fun too many. and for this matter, I'm targeting the aesthetic community with firstly the toxic parts and how to avoid them and with an ending of appreciating some good characteristics and people in the community. 1) faking nationality, age, etc. Many people get very pressed over this, and it's kind of surprising how people start pouncing like predators on a bunch of 9-10-year-olds on this matter! In the past and currently as well, there has been a spike of kids claiming to be Korean, Japanese, or Chinese because some now consider being these nationalities as "aesthetic." In no way do I agree with or support such actions, but I think those who react to this are very harsh in this respect and need to tone down a bit with their anger. Educate the kids; they aren't mature or properly understanding, so at first start with simple communication, and if that doesn't work, then simply report; there's no need to make a big issue out of it. 2) hate oh boy, oh boy, this part gets crazy. many times people get attacked simply because they seem too kiddish. or because people don't appreciate their stuff. If you are the one facing it, then really you need to understand you WILL get hate; you are online, and these platforms are bigger than your tiny life. You've got to take constructive criticism and accept it; if you can't, then no one's asking you to stick around. There’s one story of a father, son, and donkey. They pass by each city, and each time people tell them something else. Like once people say that the father should sit on the donkey (and they do that), then the next city people say that the son should sit, then they say that both of them should sit in the next village, then in the other village they tell them that they're torturing the donkey. So in simpler words, you CANNOT satisfy everyone's expectations. If they hate, then let them. They aren't all that, and most importantly, they definitely aren't coming and knocking at your house door with a dagger, so calm tf down and ignore it. If you're the one getting hated, then really, shame on you. Try to be a little more considerate and human. Remember, if today you are laughing at someone, someday, somewhere, someone can do the same to your loved ones. Think twice before you comment. 3) impersonators, fakers, copycats Alas, how mankind ignores the report button in masses! First one needs to educate themselves in the meaning of "clout." What is it, eh? Clout chasing is when one tries any or every way to get attention. This clout and attention could be fruitful and good, and if you do that, then I commend you, and the other is in the bad way by being illiterates. So really ignore and simply report the second type, but if they still persist, then really they are just testing your patience, so you in turn annoy them off by ignoring them more. 4) toxicity The repetition of people complaining about the Aes community being toxic is getting on my nerves. like really, repetition is not always a rhetorical virtue. Yes, it's toxic; we get the point, but tell me which place in the seven corners of this earth is safe? not even your homes, so how can you expect that an unknown entity will be safe to you? Everything and everywhere is filled with a power of toxicity, and the sooner you learn and accept the fact, the better. okay on the positivity aspect. 1) Collabority, an open place. a lot of aes scratchers collab, so it's easier to work up together and learn to accept and try other ideas. 2) active managers If you've been in the oldest aes comm, then really you must be knowing the manager's inactivity previously. the new managers—a round of applause for them, please—are much more active and helpful, except for some (actually one, but we get the point, don't we?) and well, the rest are pretty much like any other community, so I'll leave it to you to these points, as for people I'd specifically like to appreciate are , , , , , , (and the rest of the managers), and from the curators, then , , , and more. Okay, that's it, folks. I'll let you be till there. I hope I can trust you guys to now stop having your level of dumbness as to that of a sloth's speed and a donkey's braying. Darien signs out. - I did not type this btw, did. So I an take no credit from the text above this. <3
I totally agree with this!! This is getting so out of hand. I have had multiple problems on accounts such as @-Dxrling- and @-Sunny_Dayzzz- . If all possible could you maybe remix this? I would like to spread the word about the aes comm. Together we can rebuild the AESTHETIC COMMUNITY!! - Summer
