"Right this way." Aiden said gesturing down the hall after he grabbed a large backpack from his room. "Okay..." I replied, slowly following him. I glanced behind me to where Chloe was standing with her arms crossed and a smirk on her face. She have me a small wave before I tuned around rolling my eyes. She had interrupted my snack time so this had better be good. Aiden lead me through a maze of rooms and hallways, I tried to remember the different turns we took and rooms we went through but soon got distracted thinking of where we were even going to think of how I'd get back there. I didn't recognize any of the rooms we went through and all the hallways seemed the same. I had a strange feeling about this. Where were we going? I had grown to trust everyone at the Pack especially Aiden. But a lot of strange things seemed to happen around here. Could this all be some sort of set up. It wouldn't be the first time. There were plenty of situations people had used me... I stopped myself from wondering any farther into those thoughts. I had gotten through those times and I could get through this. I wasn't going to let my guard down though. The Pack, or whoever they were, trained me well and I'd use it against them if I had to. I really didn't want to though. Aiden looked back at me, "Trust me, you'll love it." "Yeah." Trust him, how was I supposed to trust him when he was leading me who knows where and wouldn't tell me what was happening! Breathe, just breathe. I told myself, you could always throw ketchup at him. I scoffed at myself, I needed to think clearly though. Worrying wouldn't get me anywhere that I was sure of. So I'd have to face whatever came at me head on. We finally came to a spiral stair well and Aiden punched a code into a key pad on the wall. "Wait here," Aiden told me climbing up the stairs with a goofy grin on his face. I heard something move before Aiden came back down with the same goofy grin. "Alright, let's go!" He said stretching out his arm and offering me his hand. I hesitantly took it, allowing him to lead me to whatever he had planned. And as I placed my hand in his... I placed my trust in him. I trusted him.
