This also makes me think of some... more personal reasons. It's a song that just... hurts, yk? You can feel it in your heart, and your core, and you forget how to breathe. The fear that wraps around your lungs and suffocates you. You want to scream, but nothing escapes. You're stuck, trapped. You can feel the tears, or at least you think you can, but you're stuck staring before you. Eyes unmoving. You want to look away, to move, but you're stuck in place. Your feet magically feel like a ton of bricks and your eyes are glued to the scene before you. You stand there for what feels like hours, but it is a mere minute. No one knows. No one understands. All you can do is pretend that everything is okay, and nothing is falling apart. But you're empty. A hollow shell just taking up space. But nothing is as it seems. It's never how it seems. And then you're alone. Again.
