In menus Use keyboard prompts or tap on them to change settings. In race Mobile controls in bottom-right corner. Deactivated automatically if a keyboard input has been sensed. Accelerate - Automatic Brake - Down/S Left - Left/A Right - Right/D Nitro - Space Brake & Left/Right = Drift (hold 2 keys, cannot drift & nitro at the same time) Tap the screen/up/W for throttle during the race countdown. Aim for the blue zone. Tilt controls is also a new feature (in a sort of experimental state). It uses the face sensing, so camera is required (don’t cover it with your fingers!) Tap the right side of the screen for nitro and the left side for brake. It feels a bit weird so if you have a keyboard I recommend that. Also it doesn’t save the setting. The options show FPS - show or hide the FPS Units - Imperial = mph, Metric = km/h Smoke & Speed effect - Choose to display the effect. May (not guaranteed) improve performance. Simple race UI - Uses variables to display only critical information rather than display a bunch of info with pen stamping. Can slightly improve performance. When toggled on: Speed - top Nitro stored - bottom Position - left Lap/countdown - right In non-simple UI, the race time, distance to finish, distance to 1st, and distance to next checkpoint will also be indicated and you get a nice nitro bar. The game modes Classic - First across the line wins Elimination - When the countdown ends, the driver in last is eliminated from the race until only one remains. Checkpoint - Reach the next checkpoint before the timer ends. Versus - A 1v1 race. Rain and snow affect your car's handling. The career To unlock levels, you need to a) obtain a certain amount of stars overall, or b) obtain a certain amount of stars in a specific level. The amount of stars obtained in checkpoint levels depends on how many checkpoints you reach.
