Glass 80s Otis lift at John Lewis in Kingston MODERNIZED! This lift is TOTALLY AWESOME!!! The BEST glass lift in Kingston - even better than the scenic lifts in the Bentall Centre - now with more city-like view! Oops? Did I made an Alternative Reality version of the lift being modded by CHINESE THYSSENKRUPP? You can't go to the car parks. This lift only goes down as far as the basement. Even Car Preference won't work. WAIT A SECOND, YOU CAN GO TO PARKING LEVELS? EVEN BY PRESSING THOSE FLOOR BUTTONS? The older Drucegrove voice that this lift has was quite interesting to have custom floor messages. Especially liked the one that says "Ground Floor And Exit". BUT ITS REPLACED TO CHEAP HORRIBLE SOUNDING VOICES! The lighting up floor directory above the doors is one of the best things about this lift, but sadly it doesn't work anymore in real life. The ground floor bulb has blown, and in the alternative reality version, ITS REPLACED INTO CHEAP LCD! This lift among the other one in this set was modernised into an Otis "GeN2 Mod". @numberboy9 has been to John Lewis recently and went in the modded lifts, however, in this Scratch Project, we have that lift, but modernized into A TK! Also the outside indicator is faithfully changed, but still feels like OTIS Series 1 ripoff if you look outside the lift.
