So... I'm leaving scratch for a number of reasons. I thought making a new account would clear waters with the ST, but I guess I was wrong. My projects are still getting taken down despite following the guidelines. Everyday, I live in constant fear of opening my computer and seeing the "This account has been blocked" message. Not only that, but mean and hateful projects are staying up even though they're violating the guidelines. The ST hardly does anything about this. I don't feel safe on a website where troll and spam reporters can get away with what they do, while actual nice people suffer the consequences. It's not fair, and it's not right. Scratch is also banning a lot of friendly users I used to interact with all the time, some of my irl friends are deleting their accounts as well. So I figured I might as well go, too. My parents also agree that I should focus more on my mental health and schoolwork, and that staying on here when I have so much going on might not be the best idea. Maybe I'll hop on to check my emails occasionally, but I don't think I'll be posting anymore projects. So, what I'm trying to say is... goodbye, everyone. Thank you to everyone who liked and favorited my projects. Thank you to my followers for the support and for making my account grow as much as it did, I'll miss you all. Please take care of yourselves, drink plenty of water, stay buckled in the car, get your eight hours of sleep, etc. Stay safe and have an amazing rest of your day // night.
