I might've mixed up a few things, but this is one of my theories. Another Theory: acquainted has been reincarnated. He was a dark forest cat. In his new life he forgot about the days in the dark forest. That is why he is mostly colorful other than his eyes. The other cats are depictions of cats that he has killed in another life, they are colorless because they only exist in LoamPaw's mind. He refuses to believe that they are not real. ClearPaw gets confused about GlassPelt because the two cats were not aquainted in the last life. LoamPaw attempts to force a friendship between himself and ClearPaw, but once LoamPaw is pushed away, he is sent into a state of depression. LoamPaw is torn because of how the medicine cat treats him. He is pushed away from his imaginary clan. Nobody else can go out because their movements are limited. LoamPaw's imagination is not great enough to be able to allow the other cats to cross out of the clan camp. The other cats are scared of being with him. The color pallette of the cat he meets suggests that she is a bad influence. Perhaps she is there to punish LoamPaw. She pretends to be kind and loving.
