I did this over a span of five days, but it was still rushed because two of those five days I spent procrastinating :) I know I've been inactive lately, but hopefully that will change pretty soon? I'm working on a meme, but it's taking FOREVER and I don't know when it will be done. This was actually a very interesting piece and the color palette was fun to play with, especially the gradients! (ME CONTINUING TO BLABBER ABOUT STUFF NO ONE BUT ME CARES ABOUT) For this piece, I made art based on a prompt. I could interpret / draw it in any way I wanted, as well as use any tools I needed for reference, color palette ideas, etc. For some reason, the first thing that came to my mind when I got my prompt was the little scene in Animal Crossing: New Horizons where Luna asks you what you want to dream about, so the hazy clouds (or maybe fog?) are kind of a nod to that, as well as the color palette. Although the color inspiration came from ACNH, the program I got the most help from was ColorMagic's palette generator. Although I did tweak most of the colors, I still found it very helpful and a great way to start the coloring process. For the prompt, I used the first word that came to mind when I thought of the basic mental blocks needed for the way I do art: Imagination. Although fantastic art can be made with little to no imagination, I tend to make a lot of things up as I go, with no idea where the ideas formed. For me, it's an essential for making art I'm proud of.
I literally drew this on Scratch, using a mouse pad. This is 100% Scratch art. *-._.-._.-._.-._.-._.-._.-._.-._.-._.-._.-._.-._.-._.-._.-._.-._.-* CREDITS Me x Canva for the thumbnail Music is Flora, by Kirara Magic and PINKASONIC @-StoryAnimates- for the art https://colormagic.app/ for the base color palette *-._.-._.-._.-._.-._.-._.-._.-._.-._.-._.-._.-._.-._.-._.-._.-._.-*
