just a rant about generic platformers: it looks awful, plays terribly, and the physics make zero sense. these things are 4% creativity and 96% stealing griffpatch's code. they always have the same boring rooms, same boring mechanics, and almost always have the same boring character. and the hitboxes are just awful. there is a difference between goofy but fair hitboxes and perfect hitboxes, and there's a reason actual developers go with the former. anyways I'll be back for a little while.
