Conway's Game of Life shows cells evolving under a set of rules. Particle Lenia takes this to a new level! Use the icons while the simulation is running to - - show/hide mathematical parameters - randomise parameters - reset particles to random positions Density slider: How spread out the particles are Particles slider: Number of particles Lenia is a Cellular Automata that has been derived from the Game of Life. Unlike the Game of Life, it is a continuous Cellular Automata, which means that the states of cells, as well as time and space, are continuous. Particle Lenia is a multi-particle model that rewrites this continuous cellular automaton model, resulting in diverse patterns.
